I agree with you BC. I rather wait for a convincing and dynamic Nighty, than get a cheesy one right away. Good things come to those who wait. I also think the movie story hasn't reach the point yet where Kurt's story would fit.

Okay..I've asked this before, in a couple places, but where in the world was Colossus in the first movie? I never saw him, to my knowledge.

As far as I know, he was never in the first one. If he was, where the hell is he?

People say that he was in the montage sequence when Wolvie's being shown around the grounds. When the kid runs across the pond, there's a big kid in the corner of the screen sketching. Also, when the Blackbird/X-Jet/whatever takes off and the kids are all looking out the window, there's a shot of a big, buff kid. It's impossible to tell if the kid with the sketch pad and the kid looking at the Blackbird are the same, but people claim they are, and that it's Colossus.

Yup, that's supposed to be him. I think NC is doable right now, without looking like Jar Jar...*ack* He doesn't need to be a CGI, he just needs a make up job like Mystique had. If you look at the way Mystique moves in the movie, that's the way I imagine Nighty. She's very, ah, limber. She moves like a cat, and that combined with some CGI for his bamfing and tail, would be enough for him to be convincing. Combine her grace with a little humor and I think you've got NC down. If Singer put him in the second movie, I'm sure it would be a quality Nighty because he wouldn't want to lessen the integrity of the rest of the movie. However later, if Singer doesn't continue as the "X-director," and who would want that label forever, the next director may turn it into a fiasco to rival the Corman FF movie or the Bat sequals. Uck.
I say, better Singer Nighty than Shumacher Nighty with x-nipple action.
